This dish is designed to eat on its own. It includes protein, carbs, and veggies all in one! However, I did serve half a portion of this creamy goodness with mashed potatoes! It was delicious. 😊 If the calorie count is a bit alarming to you, then reduce the portion size and serve with some seasoned steamed vegetables.

Callie’s Review and Tips
This is my kind of meal and a recipe I created. I was chuffed with it and surprised that it tasted so good on the first try. Therefore, I can’t help but give this a Callie Review score of five out of five. While on my fitness journey, I’ve steered away from creamy sauces, knowing they are a high-calorie option. Using Greek yogurt, however, is a saving grace in this respect. It takes far fewer calories to get that desired creamy texture. The starch from the orzo helps stabilize the yogurt and prevents it from splitting. So, don’t add your yogurt too early, or it will curdle!
I originally made this into six portions, but I would say they are generous in size. Could easily make this a 400 calorie meal and get more servings for your efforts. An alternative would be to reduce the chicken to 1 lb.
My photography of this dish leaves a lot to be desired. Trust me, it tastes far better than it looks. 😝
